LTS Cocktail Hour

It's Friday, it's the weekend, and it's time to unwind and let go. Whatever has been bothering you throughout the week, whoever has been getting on your nerves, those morning meetings, conference calls, business trips and all in between, let it go. Forget about all that. Let your hair down, put your feet up and have a good time.

I love to make cocktails, especially when we have our Sister Circle, and experiment with different things. Let's make this a Friday tradition ( of some sorts ). I'll share my recipes, you can share yours and we'll all have a funky good time.

One key ingredient for all every recipe I post is YOU. Everything is to a matter of taste and it's always nice to spice it up. It also helps to have a cocktail glass handy.

Chocolate Martini

  • 2 oz. of base spirit ( I prefer Vodka )
  • 1/2 oz. of chocolate liquor
  • 1/2 oz. of white cream de cacao
  • chocolate syrup ( to coat the rim of the martini glass )
  • Directions: Coat the rim of the martini glass with the chocolate syrup. Mix all ingredients together in a shaker w/ ice. Strain and pour into martini glass and enjoy.
