Boyfriend Number 2...really?

Let me just tell yall how much I hate this song! Maybe it's because I'm getting older and the older I get, the more I realize how stupid lyrics are getting. The beat is nice and all but along with the stupidity that flows through the lyrics, it sounds like the other gazillion and one songs that have been done like this. So while I'm in my analyzing mood, let's go ahead and break down this song. If the lyrics I put up aren't right, shoot me. I went to Youtube and found them.

"Call me when your n*gga ain't around, I don't mind being the dude on the side." Are you serious? This is how people lose their lives. No committment, just sex or whatever it may be. And on top of all of that, you're increasing your chances of catching all kinds of nasty mess. "I'm boyfriend number 2..cause the first, he don't really seem like he know what to do." Stop!! How you gon' sit there and say this man don't know what he's doing?? Maybe you don't know what YOU'RE doing cause if you were as good as you say then I don't really think she'd still be with him. Nextttttt! "And second place always got a lot to prove." What?!?! First you brag about being the dick on the side now you brag about being in second place and having something to prove? Oh yeah, that's attractive. "I got a couple places, I'm sure he don't know about." So you're creeping around with this man's lady and you're talking mad cash about him but you can't be seen in public? That's real gangsta!

Those few lines just really caught my attention when I first heard the song. Again, I know the song was probably written all for entertainment purposes but just think real quick...people really get down like this as if this was something that's normal. Other than that, I really didn't pay too much attention to the lyrics but for those who like the song, umm more power to you. The video looks "done" before too:
